Williamsport

20 September 2023

Message from the Dean

We have just finished celebrating more than 75 years of our chapter’s existence! The past year of 2022-2023 was again very rewarding and informative where: Sub-dean Leatha Kieser presented the history and hymnody of Lowell Mason and recitals with and without a choir, chapter and community members enjoyed music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, music of Cesar Frank at Zion Lutheran Church in Sunbury, an Estonian Holiday, an exploration of organs at First Presbyterian Church in Troy, Mansfield University, and Tioga, PA.

Upcoming Program Highlights

This 2023-2024 year promises to be another exciting, informative, and joyful year as well. From organ recitals featuring various compositions to concerts by Seipps/Sheets on trumpet and organ, program and concert featuring Dr. Marcus Krieger, and a Parsons Organ Builders tour.

Please feel free to email us for any program information. We will be glad to be of assistance.

All area musicians are welcome.

I find value in my AGO membership because of the educational resources available and the opportunities to participate in community service. The AGO challenges me to learn more, expand my network, and get involved!
