National Council

The National Council is the main governing body of the American Guild of Organists. It consists of four National Officers (President, Vice President/Councillor for Competitions and New Music, Secretary/Councillor for Communications, and Treasurer/Councillor for Finance and Development), three National Councillors (Councillor for Education, Councillor for Membership, and Councillor for Conventions), and Chair of the Board of Regional Councillors. The Executive Director is an Officer who is a non-voting member of the National Council, and the Convener of AGOYO (AGO Young Organists) is a non-voting member of the National Council. The Chaplain is an honorary member of the National Council.
