Pogorzelski-Yankee Memorial Scholarships
Two scholarships will be awarded for the 2016-17 academic year: one to an entering college freshman ($7,500) and one to an entering 1st year graduate student ($15,000); the scholarships are renewable if certain requirements are met. AGO Brooklyn Chapter
The Brooklyn Scholarship seeks to encourage excellence and educate young organists in the performance of organ music.  A scholarship competition will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at 3:00 PM, at Grace Episcopal Church, 254 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.  The competition has two separate categories for high school and college organists, and is open to any student who resides, works, or studies in one of the five boroughs of New York City.  Contact Sub-Dean John A. Peter B. Knock Memorial Music Fund
Two scholarships ($18,000 and $12,000) are available to organists, other instrumentalists, vocalists, directors, and conductors preparing to engage in a course of study in the performance of sacred music at an accredited institution. Deadline for applications is March 1, 2016. Contact

Ronald Barnes Memorial Scholarship
Sponsored by the Guild of Carillonneurs of North America. The scholarship provides an opportunity to pursue studies, within North America, in North American carillon performance, composition, music history or instrument design. Application deadline is March 1, 2016, website.

Académie d’Orgue de Fribourg Organ Scholarship

M. Louise Miller Scholarship
A scholarship was established in 1998 to honor the life and work of Dr. M. Louise Miller (1914 – 2008), a founding member (1948) of the Greater Bridgeport Chapter. The award is $2000.  Application deadline is June 1, 2016.

Ruth and Paul Manz Organ Scholarship
This annual scholarship is offered through the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and is intended to be an encouragement to organ students who are preparing careers as church musicians. Applicants must not have reached their 28th birthday by January 1, 2015. The award is $3,000. Applications must be postmarked no later than July 1,  2015. Contact or 773-256-0728.

Roberta Bitgood Scholarship
The scholarship is sponsored by the New London County Chapter and is open to organists of all ages and abilities.  Application deadline is Friday, June 13, 2014, and the award is $750. For information contact Jesse Glaude at or click here.

Suffolk Chapter Scholarships
The Suffolk chapter sponsors three scholarships. The application deadline is March 20, 2015. More information on the Suffolk Chapter website.

College of the Holy Cross
Full tuition undergraduate scholarship for an organ scholar; the scholarship begins fall 2015 and is renewable. Applicants should already have some experience in church music. The application deadline is January 15, 2016. More information on the Holy Cross website.
