Message from the Dean

Welcome to the Palm Beach AGO Chapter. Get the most out of AGO by attending our events and workshops. Feel free to contact the Dean if you have any questions. [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers].

I urge you to take a minute and re-read AGO Code of Ethics.

Local Events

Great workshops and recitals are offered every year. Attending our events is like going to a convention, it’s just spread out throughout the year!

Contact your Dean who will email a complete list to you [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers].

We currently have approximately 45 members in the Palm Beach County Chapter AGO.
Who are the other organists in our area?
Do you have organist friends who are not AGO members? We’d love to send our newsletter to every area organist.
Our newsletter will keep area organists informed of concert & recitals. In addition, we are offering several workshops that are open to everyone: membership not required.
So find out who is the organist at that church down the street and send their name and email address to our Dean. [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers].

We’re glad to have each of you as a Chapter Member! Haven’t renewed yet? Contact our Dean. [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers].

For the most current job listings, please visit:

Our chapter maintains a list of substitutes as a service and is not intended as an endorsement of any organist by the Palm Beach County AGO. The employer is responsible for determining that a substitute will adequately meet the needs of the church. To learn the proficiency of substitutes, feel free to ask them for references. Please contact our Dean for a copy of the Substitute list [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers].

Employers and job seekers are invited to post and search listings of available positions on the Guild’s National Website.

We do not have an active certification program in our chapter.

If you are interested in organ lessons to improve your skills, please contact our Dean for organ teachers in Palm Beach County [see Dean’s email address listed below in chapter officers]..
