Message from the Dean 

Welcome to the Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Guild of Organists Website.. The AGO mission is ” to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration education, and certification of Guild members”.

Our local organization supports this mission by :
Sponsoring scholarship students in the advancement of Organ,
Presenting performances by members and scholarship students .
Sponsoring concerts by seasoned performers, both local and international.

We invite you to come and enjoy our programs and join as a friend or member of our organization.

Local Events

The Treasure Coast Chapter’s 20th Anniversary Program  – 2016/2017

  • Treasure Coast Choral Festival with guest conductor, David Hill, Sunday October 16, 4 pm, Trinity Episcopal Church, Royal Palm Boulevard, Vero Beach
  • Phantasies & Phugues, TCCAGO Hallowe’en concert, Sunday, October 30, 4 pm, Sebastian United Methodist Church, 1029 Main Street, Sebastian
  • Dueling Brothers, a concert of organ and piano masterworks, featuring Dr. Marcos Flores (piano) and Dr. José Daniel Flores (organ), Sunday, November 20, 3 & 7 pm, Christ-by-the-Sea United Methodist Church, North Highway A1A, Vero Beach (Please note: this concert is part of this church’s regular concert series; tickets must be purchased from the church for full price.)
  • Vero Beach Organ Festival

                      Saturday, January 28, 2017, 10:30 am, Pedal, Pipes, & Pizza, with performances by our scholarship students, Hannah Spector and Joseph Parr. 12-1 pm. Masterclass with Dr. Jonathan Moyer. Both events at First  Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach

Sunday, January 29, 4 pm, The Songsun Lee Memorial Recital, performed by Oberlin Conservatory organ professor , Dr. Jonathan Moyer, the Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Street, Vero Beach

  • 20th Anniversary Celebration dinner honoring founding member and Dean, Donald Ingram, Friday, February 24, 2017, 6.30 pm at the Quilted Giraffe Restaurant, 500 South US 1
    Vero Beach. Tickets for members: $30.
  • Singing for a Lifetime, a vocal workshop featuring Dr. Julia Foster, professor of voice at Rollins College, Saturday, March 25, 9.30-11.30 am, Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, South Highway A1A, Vero Beach
  • TCCAGO Members’ Recital, Friday, April 28, 7 pm, The Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Avenue (5 blocks west of U.S. Route 1)
  • TCCAGO Annual Meeting, Friday, May 19, 7 pm at the home of Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, 14 Castle Hill Way, Sewall’s Point (Stuart). Following the annual meeting at 8.15 pm, chapter member, Andrew Galuska (music director of the Community Church of Vero Beach) will present a program of fun and fancy music for the theatre organ. Dr. Jureit-Beamish’s home features an Allen George Wright Signature Series Theatre Organ, and promises to be a special conclusion to our 20th season!
