Regional Convention bids are made to the Councillor for the Region responsible for the region in which the convention will be held.

		An Invitation to Chapters to Host a Regional Convention Our revised (2010) brochure explaining the application guidelines and benefits of hosting a Regional Convention.
		Guidelines for 2011 Regional Conventions of the American Guild of Organists

The purpose of this committee is to work with the Councillors for the Regions and host chapters in facilitating the nine Regional Conventions which are held in odd-numbered years. This committee hosts an orientation session for the Councillors for the Regions and Regional Convention Coordinators in the fall three years before the convention is to take place, and continues to assist host chapters throughout the entire process of planning and holding the convention. The committee reviews and revises the Regional Convention Guidelines as necessary.
