How an Independent Member Can Transfer into an AGO Chapter
An Independent Member (IM) can transfer into a chapter at any time by advising AGO National Headquarters of the chapter the IM wishes to join. AGO staff will be pleased to assist an IM with such a transfer by identifying local chapters listed on the AGO Web site, and/or providing the IM with contact information for the local Councillor for the Region. Upon notification of an Independent Member’s decision to transfer into a specific chapter, Headquarters staff will immediately update the member’s database record to reflect the chapter membership through the IM’s current expiration date and notify the chapter of the transfer.
