DELAWARE CHAPTER

Last updated: February 3, 2010

Message from the Dean

Our chapter year is off to a really great start! Our chapter events are interesting and off to a great start!

Our next chapter events will be held on:

Monday, 22 February 2010
The Aging Voice
7:00 P.M.
Leader: Michael Kemp
Location: St. Paul’s United Methodist, Wilmington
We all have them - those veteran choir members who have been singing for decades. They are great people, but sing less well now than they did 10 (or 40!) years ago. Find out how to help them improve.

Feel free to bring your choir members with you to this informative session!

Also call me or e-mail me with any questions or concerns that you may have about our AGO Chapter. Or you may contact chapter Secretary Bob Wallace at BACH934@aol.com with items of interest for the monthly newsletter The Windchest or this website.

See you at the next chapter event? Bring a friend.
Ken Warner, Dean

Membership

The Delaware Chapter of the American Guild of Organists is an active chapter that serves professional, semi-professional, and amateur organists and directors throughout the region. Information on Guild membership is available here. If you would like to join the Delaware Chapter, email our Registrar, Terrence Gaus-Woollen, Registrar/Treasurer - terry@trinityparishde.com

Substitute Organists

To aid churches in finding substitute organists for services, the Delaware Chapter has compiled a list of organists available for various types of engagements. In addition to name and phone number, each listing provides information about music degrees and guild certifications, availability (whether for Sundays, weddings and funerals, or interim work), ability to conduct different ensembles, and any particular denominational preference (denomination listings are not necessarily exclusive; many organists have experience outside the listed traditions). Please note, information about substitute organists was provided by the individual organists and has not been verified by the Delaware Chapter. This list is provided as a service and is not intended as an endorsement of any organist by the Delaware Chapter AGO.
