GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES DISCONTINUED. As part of the restructuring of the American Guild of Organists in 2012, the discontinuation of the use of the Grievance Procedures was approved by the National Council and, as of July 1, 2013, they are no longer available for AGO members. However, the Code of Ethics, Code of Professional Standards, Discipline, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Mentor Program, Model Contract, Employment Review, Salary Guidelines and other Professional Development options are still available to support AGO members.

Current grievances which have not yet been resolved will remain posted on the AGO web site, and members of AGO are bound by the Code of Ethics to avoid employment by these organizations. At any time, these organizations are welcome to resolve the grievance in accordance with the Grievance Procedures. Contact American Guild of Organists headquarters for more information.
