Ken Cowan Pre-Convention Concert

Ken Cowan will present an organ concert at First United Methodist Church, 324 N. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park, IL on Saturday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m. The concert is a special AGO preview of the church's newly restored 4 manual, 44-rank E. M. Skinner organ.  The unaltered 1925 Skinner organ is currently being restored by Joseph Rotella of the Spencer Organ Company, Waltham, MA, with Jeff Weiler and Jonathan Ambrosino supervising pipework restoration and tonal finishing.  A formal dedication concert series will take place this fall. More information about the organ is available at www.fumcoakpark.org/skinner.html.

The concert is $15 which includes bus roundtrip transportation from the convention hotel. See the church's website, www.fumcoakpark.org for more information. Please mark your registration form for the “Pre-convention Event” to register for this concert.
