Dear Prospective Advertiser,
In these documents you will find all the information and materials needed to place your advertisement in the program book of the 2006 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists to be held July 2–6 in Chicago. The convention headquarters will be at the spacious and elegantly appointed Chicago Marriott Downtown hotel located on North Michigan Avenue in the heart of the “Magnificent Mile”, downtown Chicago’s premiere shopping district. Chicago has not hosted a national convention since 1925 giving us a very real expectation of more than 2,100 attendees at the convention from all over the United States and many foreign countries!
This indeed promises to be a very highly attended convention giving you valuable exposure to a prime segment of your target market. What better way to reach these people than through an ad that will be seen by 2100+ musicians! Available ad sizes range from 1/8 page B&W to full-page 4-color. Three cover ads are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. These ads go quickly so please contact us first to determine their availability.
If you are renting an exhibit booth, don’t forget to deduct 10% from the cost of your full-page ad. Even if you are not going to have an exhibit booth, think about placing your flyer or brochure in each person’s registration packet. This is the perfect way to get double exposure at the convention. Please read these documents carefully, then, complete the Advertising Contract form and mail it with your ad copy in any of the accepted formats listed on the form and your payment in full.
