The Walt Disney Concert Hall will include a 38,000 square foot urban arts park which will enhance the Music Center's appeal as a community and family destination by creating an outdoor oasis at what is expected to be the signature building of Los Angeles.

Designed by Walt Disney Concert Hall architect Frank Gehry who worked jointly with landscape designer Melinda Taylor and landscape architect Larry Moline, the Concert Hall's urban park will span the length of the complex along Hope Street from 1st to 2nd Streets, complementing the structure's sculptural design.
